1. Registration (for counselling process):

After Qualifying NEET-PG Entrance Exam, if you are interested to get a PG Medical Seat in Karnataka then you need to apply for counselling process conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) – Govt. of Karnataka, no matter from which state you belong to it is compulsory to apply for all.

After verification, the original documents will be returned to you and KEA will retain one set of attested photocopies of all the documents. Before leaving the verification counter, an acknowledgment card and a verification slip will be issued to you.
Once you become eligible after verification of documents, you will provided a high security secret key by KEA, that you will use to register and create a password as per your choice for login at online option entry portal.

3. Choice / Options filing:

At this step, you need to select your specializations and colleges from among the seats available which is displayed like discipline wise, course wise, college wise. You will have the choice to enter all the options in the discipline to which you are eligible irrespective of the availability of seats.

The entry form contains priority order number, discipline, college name, college code, and the subject code, and you have to give the priority order number from among the list of colleges and courses.

You can prioritize his/her options from series of permutation / combination of college and course. As there is no limit for entry of options, so you can enter any number of options as you wish to exercise on your own priority.

4. Seat Allotment:

KEA will declare the allotment result. Allotment of seats is based on the merit and the priority of options entered by you. If you get allotment into any college, then you need to report to the college along with all necessary documents.
