 Dayananda Sagar University was founded in the year 2014 by Dayanand Sagar Institute which was founded by Late Shri R Dayananda Sagar. DSI run by Mahatma Gandhi Vidya Trust (MGVP) and this trust manage 28 educational institutions in the name of “Dayananda Sagar Institute” (DSI) and super specialty hospital in the name of Sagar Hospitals, Bangalore.
